Our Story
Built Inside the Industry. Created to Strengthen Its Future.
AMWOP was created by a businessman who has worked in and around the wastewater industry since 1984.
His first role in wastewater began that year, giving him early exposure to the operational realities of municipal systems.
Over the decades, he moved in and out of the industry while also building and running a successful business — gaining a unique perspective that most inside the field never develop.

That dual background — hands-on industry experience combined with real business execution — made one thing clear:

The wastewater industry does not have a talent problem — it has a pipeline problem.
From the inside, he saw the growing strain on municipalities:
aging workforces, limited qualified applicants, and no structured system to consistently bring in and develop the next generation of operators.

From the outside, as a businessman, he understood how to build systems that solve problems at scale.

AMWOP was built at the intersection of those two realities.
Backed by decades of industry exposure and strengthened by a network of experienced superintendents and professionals with 25+ years of experience, AMWOP was created to help municipalities build stronger, more reliable workforce pipelines — not just fill positions.

Built from experience. Driven by necessity. Designed to secure the future of municipal systems.
